What MeasureMate does
MeasureMate is a Shopify app that calculates product prices from merchant-defined formulas and customer-entered dimensions. This policy explains what data the app processes.
Data we process
- Shop domain and app installation/session data.
- Merchant account details supplied in authenticated Shopify sessions, which can include the merchant's name and email address.
- Calculator configuration: names, formulas, fields, product mappings, and synced product metafields.
- Product and variant identifiers needed to map calculators and price cart lines.
- Cart line properties created by the storefront widget, such as dimensions and selected options, to calculate the authoritative cart price.
We do not intentionally store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment details, or full order records. Cart line properties are processed by Shopify and the app functions to price the cart.
Why we process it
- To provide the calculator, pricing, and validation features.
- To sync calculator configuration to products.
- To provide support and diagnose technical issues.
- To meet legal, security, and accounting obligations.
Sharing and storage
Data is stored in our application database and processed by Shopify. We use Amazon Web Services Lightsail for application hosting and Supabase for managed PostgreSQL storage. We do not sell personal data. Access is limited to what is needed to operate and support the app.
Retention and deletion
Calculator data is retained while the app is installed. On uninstall, session data is removed; shop data is deleted in response to Shopify’s shop redaction request. Product metafields may remain until overwritten or deleted by the merchant or a subsequent install. Merchants can remove calculator mappings and product metafields at any time.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Shopify merchants can contact us using the details below. Customer requests should be directed to the merchant or Shopify, as we do not store customer account data.
